Description

These savory puff pastry pockets are filled with spinach and feta, making them a perfect appetizer or snack for any occasion. Crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside, they are easy to prepare and always a crowd-pleaser.


Ingredients

  • 500 g puff pastry
  • 200 g fresh spinach
  • 150 g feta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until soft. Add spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt and pepper, then let cool slightly.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of the spinach-feta mixture in the center of each square.
  5. Fold the pastry over to form triangles and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm.

  • You can add pine nuts or herbs for extra flavor.
