Description

These protein-packed cinnamon rolls are perfect for fitness enthusiasts. Soft, fluffy, and full of cinnamon flavor, they are enriched with protein powder and Greek yogurt for a healthier twist on the classic treat.


Ingredients

  • 200 g all-purpose flour (can substitute with whole wheat or gluten-free flour)
  • 30 g protein powder
  • 30 g allulose or brown sugar substitute
  • 1 packet yeast
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 200 ml milk (or plant-based milk, e.g., almond or oat)
  • 1 egg
  • 200 g Greek yogurt (or cream cheese alternative)
  • For the frosting:
    • 100 g Greek yogurt
    • 20 g protein powder
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, protein powder, sugar substitute, yeast, and cinnamon.
  2. Add milk, egg, and Greek yogurt. Knead until a soft dough forms.
  3. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread cinnamon evenly.
  5. Roll the dough tightly and cut into 8–10 rolls.
  6. Place rolls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden.
  8. Mix frosting ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
