These Oven-Baked Feta Rolls with Chili Honey are crispy, golden, and packed with Mediterranean flavor. Creamy feta wrapped in flaky puff pastry is baked until perfectly crunchy and finished with a sweet and spicy chili honey drizzle. An easy appetizer that’s guaranteed to impress.
Ingredients
- 200 g feta cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 4 sheets puff pastry (fresh or frozen, thawed)
- 1 egg yolk, for brushing
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Crumble the feta cheese into a bowl and mix with olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- Cut the puff pastry sheets into rectangles.
- Place a portion of the feta mixture onto each pastry piece, then roll tightly and seal the edges.
- Place the feta rolls on the prepared baking tray and brush with egg yolk.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Warm the honey slightly and mix with chili flakes.
- Drizzle the chili honey over the hot feta rolls before serving.
Notes
- Add fresh herbs like oregano, thyme, or parsley to the feta filling for extra flavor.
- For more spice, increase the chili flakes or add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
